MINISTRY: Duane Mayfield is a man who has lived by faith for many, many years. He is a pastor, not only by profession but because of his personality and anointing. He is a pastor of pastors and is like a father to all. Giving and serving are natural responses in every situation. He prays with strong authority and often operates in the prophetic. His recent faith journey through the valley of the shadow of death has brought to his ministry a perspective of one who has had a brush with death and a touch from God. PROFESSION: He is CEO and Director of Horizon Ministries. He is an ordained minister who served from 2005 to 2009 on the leadership team of the Narkis Street Congregation in Jerusalem, Israel. He and his wife, Ruth McMillan Mayfield, also operate "Horizon Ministries," a global preaching and evangelistic outreach, discipling believers and training pastors and church leaders. They have offered counseling and support to believers in Jerusalem, both to Jews and gentiles. They will continue to serve in this capacity in their new location in Rochester, NY. Duane was born in Oklahoma and has lived primarily in California with many trips to Israel since 1982. He has been a minister most of his life, serving as senior pastor for five churches in California and one in Oklahoma.
